Two Visions. One Forever Home

When two people want fundamentally different things from their forever home — one modern, one drawn to antiques — the architecture either picks a side or finds a third way. This one found a third way. Set on a prime Moonlight Basin ski-and-golf lot, this 5,300-square-foot mountain contemporary holds modern precision and rustic warmth in the same frame without a visible seam. Local Montana Chief Cliff stone runs through the exterior and interior: fireplaces, stair walls, the primary suite. Reclaimed wood and powder-coated steel beams add texture. Expansive window walls frame the Spanish Peaks, and the layout — kid-friendly rec spaces, a hidden pantry, and flexible guest quarters — is designed to be lived in for generations, not just visited.
