Nestled within an aspen grove, this mountain modern residence is carefully sited to respond to both the natural slope and framed views of the Grand Tetons. The main body of the home aligns with the terrain for efficient constructability, while the primary living spaces and master suite are subtly skewed to capture unobstructed mountain vistas. A bi-parting corner sliding door opens the living area to a patio with a fire pit, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection and extending the living experience into the landscape. The material palette—featuring Frontier sandstone, raw steel, black accent siding, horizontal cedar, and a mix of flat membrane and low-sloping bonderized metal roof planes—grounds the architecture in a refined, contemporary mountain aesthetic. Inside, a sculptural stair cantilevered from a stone wall, paired with an illuminated oak slat partition, establishes a warm, textural focal point that defines the home’s spatial experience from the moment of entry.
